Where has Sneaky Apron been?!!
When I started this blog along with my YouTube and Facebook pages, I wanted to pour my heart out. Really, I did. And then like a rookie I realized, it does take a LOT of time to take pictures, videos, edit them and post/share them. Especially since hey, I am not a Final Cut Pro expert by any means; not yet at least.. hopefully I will be, soon! So anyway, this learning phase does take you by surprise.
Secondly, in my grand plans, I wanted to tour Indian Summer, see places, meet friends, eat food, shop for spices, see my dear relatives, spend time with my mum and dad and lovely sister in India. All that I did, and much more. I had a great time, considering it was monsoon season and lets face it - it does get tough to move around there when it rains. Luckily the rain gods were in my favor. It was a fantastic experience. I have so much to share, I don't know where to start. I have a LOT of footage from my travels that i want to edit. Slowly, but surely, I will get it all out there.
Third, there's nothing wrong in living in the moment, is there? For the first time in my life I was not under a project deadline, or pressure of work. This summer is the best thing that has happened to me since I quit my job. Reading to my kids - my heart was crying with Cinderella when she was sad or doing spingitzu with Kai fighting against garmadon; For sure, my mind was not thinking about how I am going to run my next conference call or the marketing strategy. I cannot explain the feeling. It's just that time stands still.
Finally, something's gotta give. While I would have loved to populate my blog with superb posts, just had to put that off a little. I do hope you got a chance to check out my videos and followed my travel on Instagram and Facebook? If not, well.. what are you waiting for!
So, all in all, I have enjoyed the time, lived in the moments and now anxious to share my culinary experiences. Stay tuned for a lot more to come. Meanwhile, here's some more sneak peek!
